Arriving by train
Basel SBB station is the main station for trains from Switzerland, France and Germany. | SBB website |
Most international express trains (including TGV and ICE) call here.
The station is in 10 min walking distance from the venue, or you can take tram line 10 to Heuwaage (4 stops).
The Tram stop is right in front of the hotel
Trains from Germany may also stop at Basel Badischer Bahnhof. From there you can take tram line 6 to Heuwaage (10 stops)

Bus Line 50 connects the Airport with Basel SBB railway station.
A taxi to the city center costs about 50CHF

An hourly direct train connects Zurich Airport with Basel SBB station.
(~1,5 hour journey).

Direct ICE High Speed Rail connections to Basel run about every two hours.

Basel is well connected to the Swiss, French and German motorway network.

Please be aware that there is a toll sticker required for swiss motorways, and french motorways are charged at toll booths.
